A Gallic poet of the first half of the fifth century. He wrote a hexameter poem of about a thousand lines against the Pelagian heresy, "Against the Ungrateful". He was a correspondent of St. Augustine, and after that Father's death wrote "Responsions for Augustine".

- An inorganic water-soluble platinum complex. After undergoing hydrolysis, it reacts DNA produce both intra interstrand crosslinks. These crosslinks appear to impair replication and transcription of DNA. The cytotoxicity cisplatin correlates with cellular arrest in G2 phase cell cycle.
