To prepare a dead hare or rabbit for carriage in the hand or on a pole, by cutting the tendon Achillis immediately above the hock in one hind leg, and making between the tendon and the bone in the other an incision through which the first foot is passed beyond the hock, the projection of which prevents the foot from slipping back.
