A cataplasm, of which mustard forms the basis, which is used for exciting redness, and acting as a counter-irritant. It is prepared by mixing flour of mustard and vinegar together to the due consistence. See Cataplasma sinapis.

- An inorganic water-soluble platinum complex. After undergoing hydrolysis, it reacts DNA produce both intra interstrand crosslinks. These crosslinks appear to impair replication and transcription of DNA. The cytotoxicity cisplatin correlates with cellular arrest in G2 phase cell cycle.
