An American poet and story-writer; born in New Brunswick, 1853. Besides translating "Songs from Beranger" in the original metres, he wrote: "The Perfume Holder, a Persian Love Poem"; and with A. W. H. Eaton, "Tales of a Garrison Town" and "A Garland of Sonnets".
